Lara Walden is the 12-and-under singles tennis
champion for the state of Colorado! Yeehaw!
 
The girl she beat in the finals cried after
the match. Lara overheard her mother
saying, "It's okay, sweetie. Her people
told my people that she DOESN'T LOSE."
 
That's right. I've seen her determination.
She sets her jaw, becomes very quiet,
gets the devil's gleam in her eyes.
And battles.
